The rules of the game, but we promise they're fair
To get started, you'll register and tell us about your organization. We support Dutch organizations, government bodies, international partners, foreign governments, researchers, and content creators — each with features tailored to their needs.
Once approved, you'll receive a unique Partner ID. Keep your credentials safe — you're responsible for everything that happens under your account. One account per organization, please.
Everything you submit goes through our editorial review. We check for quality, accuracy, and compliance before anything goes live. Credits are charged on submission, but if we reject your content, you get them back.
We reserve the right to remove or modify content at any time — even after publishing — but we'll always let you know why.
Credits are how things work around here. Buy them directly via Stripe or redeem a voucher code. They're used to submit content for review and publication. Unused credits don't expire.
Credits are non-transferable and generally non-refundable, except when content is rejected during review — then you get a full refund to your balance.
Your content can reach users through Mijn BuitenlandLoket (for Dutch citizens abroad), Captain Waypoint (a travel companion app), or both. You choose where it goes when you submit.
Distributing to multiple apps may cost extra credits — pricing is always shown clearly before you confirm.
Want more engagement? Add a CTA button to your content, get featured placement, or extend visibility. These are paid add-ons charged in credits.
Eligible NGOs can also participate in our NGO For Goodprogram to run donation campaigns within the apps. We facilitate the platform — you handle compliance with fundraising laws.
Invite colleagues as Teammates to share access to content management, credit balance, and analytics. You can manage who has access at any time.
As the primary account holder, you're responsible for everything your teammates do on the platform.
Don't use the platform for anything unlawful, spammy, misleading, or harmful. No bots, no unauthorized access, no disrupting the service.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Remaining credits in a terminated account are forfeited. You can close your own account anytime by contacting us.
The platform is provided “as is.” Our liability is limited to the amount of credits you've purchased in the past 12 months. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Buitenland Loket Ltd is registered.
